Biosculpture gel treatment processCaring for your natural nails is important, so they are prepared without excessive buffing. Preparation involves a cuticle tidy, nail shape and pre treatment. Thin layers of Biosculpture gel are applied and dried under a UVA Lamp. The first layer is the base, the second and third layers for colour and a final shiny UV gel for protection is applied. Caring and maintaining your Biosculpture OverlaysBiosculpture gel overlays are durable. However, like any enhancement they need care and protection. Wear gloves when you are doing your household chores, gardening etc. Avoid contact with water as much as possible! Use the pads of your fingers to avoid stress on your nails. Do not pick, bite or pull the overlays off, this will damage your nails. Maintain your Biosculpture gel overlays by applying a clear top coat on a weekly basis. Cleanse your overlays with Biosculpture non acetone polish remover and apply Biosculpture top coat, allow to dry. Acetone polish remover will take off your overlays, so please do not use it. How long do the overlays last?Depending on how quickly your nails grow and how you take care of your overlays, maintenance could be between 2 to 4 weeks. How are Biosculpture Overlays removed?Your overlays must be removed professionally. To avoid the build up of thick unsightly gel, soaking off is recommended instead of infills. Bio Sculpture Gel is removed without damaging the natural nail. It soaks off in less than 30 minutes. Each finger is wrapped in foil with a small pad soaked in gel remover. This is more effective than soaking in a bowl of gel remover as it avoids skin irritation. Pre treatment and a new set of overlays are applied if desired. | ||
